In July 2025, VOUS Italy published an editorial by me titled DOUX ÉTÉ. This project is special to me because I consciously chose to work in color. Not to prove something new, but to make a mood visible in a more open, subtle way.

The Editorial

DOUX ÉTÉ grew out of a very calm process. I was not interested in showing a loud summer, but a soft one. Color was never the goal, it was a companion. It is present without demanding attention. The visual language remains reduced, clear, and close. It is about posture, small movements, and that quiet moment between arriving and moving on. Audé brings a presence I deeply value: restrained, aware, and natural. This creates trust and allows images to exist without the need to explain themselves.

The Magazine

VOUS Italy is an international fashion and art magazine with a strong focus on contemporary photography and individual visual voices. What I appreciate about VOUS is its openness to quiet editorials and clear photographic attitudes. Work is allowed to be sensitive, calm, and unforced. Fashion and photography are treated as expressions, not performances. The magazine is available via magcould.com, both digitally and in selected print editions.

The Impact

This editorial works through atmosphere rather than statement. The colors remain soft and support a sense of closeness and stillness. For me, DOUX ÉTÉ was a positive experiment — a step into color without losing my photographic mindset. It reminds me that photography is strongest when it doesn’t need to prove anything, but simply allows space.
