The photography project “Natural Beauty” began in 2016, at a time when the world had entered the golden age of manipulated images.

The topic of image ethics was prominent, and in individual countries in Europe, there was debate about the extent to which post-processed images needed to be labeled.

This photography book is a homage to the natural beauty of women. Pascal Uehli, after all these years in photography, couldn’t shake the idea of wanting to showcase his perspective on naturalness in a book.

The photographs were taken between 2016 and 2019 and were not retouched. The images depict real people in their natural beauty.
