Editorial photography is a form of photography that aims to tell stories and convey emotions. A remarkable example of this is the photo series “Nobody is here,” created in 2021 during the Corona crisis. Photographer Pascal Uehli captured an impressive series in the concert hall of the KKL, depicting a person attending a concert that doesn’t take place. These images capture the emptiness and loneliness that many people felt during the pandemic.

Collaboration with experienced professionals was an essential part of this project. Model Christine Lam brought the emotional depth and expressiveness needed to tell the story authentically. Stylist Daniela Correira and make-up artist Karin Brönimann complemented the team with their expertise and creativity, shaping the visual appearance of the series. Through the careful selection of clothing and make-up, the mood of the abandoned concert halls and the protagonist’s loneliness was intensely highlighted.
