That day at the North Sea was a turning point for me. I still remember the challenges the weather brought. You know how unpredictable it can be sometimes. We had prepared meticulously, but in the end, we took a completely different approach than originally planned. That was the moment I realized how enriching spontaneity can be in photography.

Luckily, I had an amazing team around me, supporting me every step of the way. Marie and Carolin, the two models, were an absolute stroke of luck. Even though they were so different, they fit together perfectly and radiated a harmony I hadn’t expected.

In this editorial, I’m giving you a first impression of the North Sea photo series. This series laid the foundation for my current work technique and vision of black-and-white photography.
