I recently spent a few days in Paris for work, partly to attend the Paris Photo photography fair. The week before, I checked the weather forecast and saw that Paris was expected to be dry with no signs of a cold front moving in. Seeing this, I decided to take the opportunity to arrange a short photoshoot while I was there.

I quickly found Katerina, who agreed to the shoot on short notice. We arranged to meet up for just an hour, planning to capture a series of black-and-white portraits. Despite the limited time, we managed to create a diverse editorial with a range of moods and aspects. Each shot brought something unique, capturing different facets of Katerina’s personality and the ambiance of Paris itself. The spontaneity of the shoot added a fresh layer to the final images, making this brief collaboration a memorable part of my trip.
