When I first met Valentina, I immediately recognized her talent and the potential she brings in front of the camera. For this editorial, created during one of my studio workshops in Zurich, I wanted to focus on the subtle dialogue between her presence and the carefully shaped light.

Valentina carries a natural elegance that resonates strongly in monochrome. The studio setting allowed me to work with precise lighting, creating defined contrasts that highlight her posture and expression. The light sculpts her face softly, while at the same time emphasizing her thoughtful gesture, adding depth to the moment.

What I find particularly successful in these portraits is the balance between strength and delicacy. Valentina radiates a calm confidence, which is intensified by the clear composition and the timeless effect of black and white. The lighting not only illuminates her features but also gives space to her charisma, letting her personality shine through in every detail.
